Moebius in Bronze VIII
Moebius in Bronze VIII takes its inspiration from the Möbius strip, a form with no beginning or end, unfolding in a seamless, continuous loop that invites the eye to travel endlessly around its surface. Cast in bronze and finished with a rich, tactile patina, the sculpture is sensitive to light and surface, its twist suggesting both movement and stillness at once.
The sculpture is mounted on a central pin, allowing it to be gently rotated so that each viewing angle reveals a new relationship of line, mass and negative space - a physical, kinetic quality that runs through Richard Fox’s sculptural practice more widely.
